Steve Schack, Director

Steve Schack is the Founder and Managing Director of Clear Blue Associates. Steve brings over twenty years of strategic advisory and executive / team development and coaching experience to his work.  At Clear Blue Associates, and previously with Ernst & Young and Capgemini, he built a strong record of achievement working with executives and leadership teams of not-for-profit and small businesses organizations on issues including: Leadership effectiveness; Organizational  improvement and sustainability, capacity building; and; strategic visioning and planning.

Steve’s business education (MBA from George Washington University and BA in Business Administration from Rutgers University) is coupled with Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University, the only university-based coaching program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He is a certified coach with the ICF and a member of its New York chapter, the regional alumni coordinator for the Georgetown Coaching program, and is a Certified lifecycles capacity consultant by the Nonprofit Lifecycles Institute.


Ann Quinn, Senior Associate

Ann Quinn has spent more than two decades advising privately held companies, nonprofits and family foundations that are facing the challenges of developing and implementing an organizational strategy, building organizational capacity, delivering mission and services or facing a funding event.  Ann brings real-world experience and a pragmatic process to guide organizations as they understand where they are, where they want to go and how to get there. Her proven strategic process helps clients navigate the opportunities and challenges that can either accelerate or derail success.

Ann is also a sought-after speaker, panel facilitator and source for journalists on topics related to strategy and business planning, organizational design, board governance and women in leadership. She has also been a guest instructor at MICA, teaching entrepreneurial artists in their capstone course to craft effective go-to-market strategies and investor pitches. The Daily Record recognized her as a Top 100 Woman in 2016, 2018 and in 2020 she was inducted into the Daily Record’s prestigious Circle of Excellence. The Baltimore Business Journal recognized her as one of the top 40 metro-area business professionals under the age of 40.Her list of career accomplishments, appointments, contributions and awards are a reflection of Ann’s desire to continually serve and engage with the business community.


Bill Hyman, Senior Associate

Bill Hyman has more than 25 years of human resources and executive coaching experience. He has worked in multiple industries including non-profits.  For more than 18 years, Bill worked at Lockheed Martin in a wide variety of HR leadership roles including serving as the HR executive for the Chief Financial Officer at Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, MD.  As the radio talk show host of “Let’s Talk Careers”, which aired in Philadelphia for more than 11 years, Bill interviewed hundreds of guests about workplace issues.

Bill is a certified coach by the International Coaching Federation. Bill holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Political Science from Muhlenberg College.


Sandra Carrigan, Senior Associate

Sandra Carrigan is a seasoned professional with over 25 years experience in assessing, designing, delivering, coaching and measuring learning and performance solutions. Her expertise is in developing high-performing individuals, teams, and organizations. Sandra excels at modeling, teaching, and coaching communication skills including leadership, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills. She is an expert in translating “soft” skills into measurable behaviors that result in increased personal productivity and bottom-line results.

Sandra worked for Franklin Covey for 12 years, in the U.S. and Canada, serving as a training consultant, facilitator, product manager for Communication Skills, internal sales coach, and training director. She earned her doctorate in Education from George Washington University, and is a certified leadership coach through Georgetown University. Sandra is a faculty member at the Schulich Executive Education Center. Schulich School of Business at York University is ranked among the world’s top 15 international business schools.
